Travel Clinic
The Health Centre is able to provide travel risk assessments and vaccinations.
GUIDE TO TRAVEL RISK ASSESSMENT INFORMATION
Below is a short guide on booking travel risk assessments and receiving travel vaccinations. We recommend submitting your travel risk assessment form to us at least 8 weeks before you travel. We want to ensure there is enough time to offer you the necessary appointments and allow your body to develop immunity from any vaccinations you may have received.
Please note we have a reduced travel service during university term dates, as we need to prioritise other healthcare services during this time. We are cannot guarantee travel appointments will be available during busy periods. Where travel appointments are unavailable, we will recommend for you to access travel services elsewhere or travel at a later date.
Travel Assessments Step by Step Guide
- Complete the travel risk assessment form below and email to imperialcollege.hc@nhs.net.
- Our team will review the information you have provided and send you a booking link for a travel risk assessment with a Practice Nurse.
- At your appointment, the Practice Nurse will provide you with travel advice and inform you if any vaccinations are recommended. Some vaccinations have a fee, which would require payment in advance. You can view our fees on our website www.imperialcollegehealthcentre.co.uk
- You can inform the Practice Nurse during your travel risk appointment which vaccines you would like to have administered. Alternatively, if you require time to consider your options, you can inform us by email at imperialcollege.hc@nhs.net.
- Where there is a fee applicable, we will send you an invoice with the costs and how to pay.
- If you decide to proceed with a vaccination, and once any applicable fees have been paid, we will send you a booking link to have the vaccinations administered.
If you have any questions please contact one of our Patient Coordinators who will be able to help.
