Life Coaching

Life Coach – Polly McDonald

Polly has been a Life Coach for over 20 years, she trained both here and in the US.  The Health Centre has offered coaching for more than 10 years and many students have found the coaching model beneficial. Coaching differs from other therapies in that it is less introspective and more focused on outcomes, it also offers lots of tools and exercises to clients.

Here are a few examples of issues coaching can help with, some of which may feel particularly acute at the moment:

  • Incipient anxiety
  • Feeling powerless
  • Reluctance to venture out
  • Challenging relationships with others (personal or professional)
  • Worries about exams and presentations
  • Unhelpful comparisons with others
  • Loss of perspective

If you feel you could benefit from coaching, just ask your GP for a referral and they will make an appointment for you.
