Welcome New Students!

Getting Registered

We strongly recommend that you get yourself registered with a doctor, as soon as possible and definitely before you become unwell. However, unfortunately you cannot register with the NHS, until you arrive in the UK.

We can register students from Imperial College, Royal College of Art, and the Royal College of Music. Those who live within our NHS catchment area (please see our website for details New Patients) may register with us and access our full range of services.

Those who live outside our catchment area can register as an “Out of Area” patient, if it is clinically appropriate and practical to do so, in your individual case. We are not able to offer home visiting or out of hours care to our Out of Area patients, but you will have access to all of our other services. If you choose not to register at the Health Centre, you will not be eligible to use any of our services.

If you wish to register with the Health Centre you should complete an on-line registration form available at:

Patient Participation Group 31st August 4pm

Please join us on Thursday 31st August 2023 at 4pm for our PPG meeting via MS Teams.

You can access the meeting via the link below

We will be reviewing the results on the annual survey and will be interested to hear from you how we can improve services.

What is a PPG

A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of patients, carers and GP practice staff who meet to discuss practice issues and patient experience to improve the service.

Purpose of a PPG:

  • To give patients and practice staff the opportunity to meet and discuss topics of mutual interest.
  • To provide a means for patients to become more involved and make suggestions about the healthcare services they receive.
  • To explore issues from patient complaints and patient surveys, contribute to actions plans and help monitor improvements.
  • To contribute feedback to the practice on National Patient Survey results and Friends and Family Test feedback to propose developments or change.
  • To support health awareness and patient education.

What should a PPG look like?

A PPG is open to every patient on the GP practice list. All communities, groups, genders, ages, ethnicities, and disabilities representing the patient list are encouraged to join. There are no other membership requirements except that patients must be registered with the practice.

Easter Opening Times

The Health Centre will be closed on the following public holidays

Friday 7th April – All day

Monday 10th April – All day

The Practice will be open again as usual from Tuesday 11th April. Please ensure you order any repeat medications early if required. Appointments can be booked online via the SystmOnline Portal as usual during the extended weekend.

Junior Doctors Industrial Action

10th March 2023

On Monday 13 March – Thursday 16 March there is strike action taking place by junior doctors at most NHS Trusts. This will have a significant impact on services. It may mean a delay in your planned tests or changes to your hospital appointments. If you have not been contacted, please attend your appointment as planned. The NHS will contact you if your appointment needs to be rescheduled due to strike action. Your care will not be stopped but it may be delayed. If you feel your health deteriorates during this time then please contact your GP so we can see if you need to be re-prioritise.
