Registering With Us

As a member of College living within our extended catchment area, provided you are eligible for NHS care, you can register with us to be your regular GP.

What to do Next:

1. Complete the forms in our Registration Pack
Registration form for Warden (students in Halls only)
2. If you are under 25 yr of age, check your vaccinations.
3. Bring the forms to the Health Centre.

Even if you do not normally see a doctor

It is strongly recommended that you register with us as soon possible to allow us to obtain your NHS GP notes before you need us. Knowing our population also helps us plan our services.

Living in halls?

Please note if you live in Halls it is a requirement of College that you are registered with a local GP. Your warden will want to see a Halls form, stamped by us.
Vaccinations

It is essential that all those under 25yrs of age read our section on vaccinations to ensure they are protected against Meningococcal Disease (Meningitis) and Mumps. Although rare these diseases DO happen, particularly in the student age group, and their consequences can be severe.
Changing address

If you change your address (e.g. at the end of the academic year) you must inform us as soon as possible in case we need to contact you. We do not have access to any address details held by College (nor vice versa). If you fail to inform us we may be obliged to cancel your registration.
Out of Term

If you need to see a GP in the vacation and cannot come to us, you can be seen by a GP in your area (e.g. many people visit their old family GP) but it is essential ask to be seen as a temporary resident. If you register with them we will be obliged to cancel your registration with us.
