Consultations are free for all UK residents and those resident in the UK for longer than six months.

Those resident in the UK for less than six months are entitled to free emergency care but will not necessarily receive free routine care even if they are from the EU.

In addition to the consultation charges outlined below, this group of patients will need to pay for any investigation (eg blood tests) and any medication.

Patients are advised to have health insurance and claim costs on their policy.

(Students of the Royal College of Music are exempt.)
